Dermalux LED Light Therapy

Dermalux harnesses the power of light energy, utilising LED (light-emitting diodes) technology. This non-invasive, pain-free treatment offers a sense of well-being and relaxation. With no downtime, you can seamlessly continue with your day as usual, without the need for time off work.

What is Dermalux LED Light Therapy?

Dermalux LED Light Therapy is a non-invasive skin treatment that uses specific wavelengths of light to stimulate the natural healing process of the skin. It involves exposing the skin to low-level light emitting diodes (LEDs) that emit light energy at different wavelengths.

The Dermalux system uses three different wavelengths of light: red, blue, and near-infrared. Each wavelength has a specific therapeutic effect on the skin. Red light stimulates collagen production, reduces inflammation, and improves skin texture and tone. Blue light helps to kill bacteria that cause acne and reduces inflammation. Near-infrared light promotes healing and rejuvenation of the skin cells.

About the treatment

During a Dermalux LED Light Therapy session, the patient lies down under a special light-emitting panel while the light is directed at their face. The treatment is non-invasive and painless, and patients typically experience a relaxing sensation during the session.

The benefits of Dermalux LED Light Therapy include the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles, improvement of skin texture and tone, reduction of acne and other inflammatory skin conditions, and stimulation of collagen production for firmer, more youthful-looking skin.

It is combined with many of our skin treatments to calm inflammation, increase skin healing and generally maximise results.
